BLOG: Is there such a thing as synchronicity or do you see what you look for ?

I was working last night, as in, on a Saturday night. 🙈

Either I don't have much of a social life or I greatly enjoy what I do? !

I have 12000 photos stored on my phone 😮 and I'm not that techy so I'm sure I could organise them much better than I do. 🤔

I was looking for one to represent the concept of reflection and match a related quote: you'll have noticed by now that I love my quotes and usually post them with my own photos (when i can find them!)

👎 Last night I was frustrated and looked in every album and folder without success, having spent a considerable amount of time on that particular task. 😒

Fast forward to this morning. The sun ☀️ is out and the birds 🐦 are singing 🎵 so I decided to go a favourite walk with my pups ostensibly to see if the heron chicks have fledged yet.

At the edge of the city there's a heronry within a country park, and I've been blessed to see my favourite birds many times. They hold great significance for me.

I didn't see them but I heard them 🙉 . If you haven't ever heard herons and their chicks on the nest it's extraordinary though not mellifluous.

However, walking towards the heronry, I came upon this, ( see pic below) some 12 hours after my fruitless search last night.

Bingo!

Which brings me to my point: do you believe that life lines up with synchronicity at times?

Or are you more of a "you see what you look for" kind of person?

Either way, to notice and be present or just to wonder and muse over such things was a lovely way to "waste" time as I walked along by the water watching the pups enjoy themselves.

Whatever you do today I hope you have time to go to that place where you can spend time wondering about the unfathomable aspects of human experience in their best form.
